Who is Kevin?

Kevin Abraham or Abraham Kevin (because the order of the factors does not alter the product), was born in Peru in the 2000’s to a happy marriage.

At the age of 10 he had a life-changing experience. In the process of changing from primary to secondary school, he applied for a scholarship to continue his studies.

On the day of the exam, together with his mother, sister, 2 of his best friends and more than 1200 children, he queued up, all with the same goal. Fortunately he was among those selected, however, he became aware that most of them did not make it. Since then, his life goal has been to democratize quality basic education.

At the age of 11, thanks to a huge effort of his parents, he got his first computer. It had a third generation intel core i3 and 2Gb of RAM. At that time he didn’t know what RAM was but even with that it served him as a companion in his adventures on the internet.

At the age of 13 he learned to program. He found a Platzi video on youtube and was encouraged to program a web page for his father. His first language: Javascript. Although the web was never available on the net (he didn’t know how to host it), he saw the power of the internet.

At the age of 16 he discovered the startup world, again, through a Platzi video. Since then he has been obsessed with the impact that can be achieved through technology.

That same year, in the midst of the pandemic caused by covid-19, he entered the University of Engineering and Technology to study computer science thanks to a scholarship.

At 17, he started his first functioning startup, Akademica. It is his attempt to democratize quality basic education through reforcement classes taught by outstanding students from the best universities in Peru. Along the way, he realized that the largest percentage of his users were students from class B-A schools, an audience he had not initially targeted. He is still searching for a way to achieve this goal.

At 18, together with a great friend he met during his adventures in UTEC Ventures, he founded LiVo. Both had a problem, not being able to find an affordable and suitable room to live near the university. Diego is a foreigner and Kevin was taking more than 3.5 hours a day in transport. They made a match almost immediately.

Since then he has been working on the development of LiVo, studying and learning about technology, education and startups.

And basically this is a little bit of his story. You can contact him through any of the social networks that you can see in the main page.

What does Kevin do when he is not CTO/COO/role to be assumed from LiVo?

He gives concerts, workshops, tastes weird food, plays video games, hacks stuff, writes a book (spoiler), and teaches.
